Right now you're asking yourself...What are shadowborn?

It's a simple question, but it's answer isn't necessarily simple. You could ask different people and receive a different answer for each person. We'll just answer your question by telling you what we believe are shadowborn.

Some think shadowborn are wannabe vampires, werewolves, witches, roleplayers who portray them, and similar persons, but that isn't the case. We don't negate the true existence of the unusual living outside society's norms. In fact, many of us believe in them completely. And, in some ways, some of us are them.

We believe shadowborn are people who live certain lifestyles. Follow certain philosophies. Hold certain beliefs. People who live outside main stream society. People who don't follow along as blind, bleating, little sheep, just waiting to be sheered. They question. They search. Some shun the light. Some feel more at home in the shadows of the night.

These people are often looked on by main stream society's dictates as odd, freakish, or malcontents. Most of them are simply different, unique, thinkers who question the world around them and aren't afraid to speak out, and that upsets many of the main stream thinkers of the world. We think it should. We want them to fear our openness. Our willingness to be free of their stifling constraints. We want them to open their own minds. We want them to question and search as we do,...without end.

We have jumped the pasture fence and are running down the road! Our arms flailing as we scream out the many joys of our freedom! We are the old souls in new flesh! The seekers! Come to us with an open mind and someone will fill it with wonder!

You ask again...What are shadowborn...And we shout our answer to you...shadowborn are many things, but most of all....WE'RE FREE! Cast off your chains and join us!
